Bankruptcy Law
Leslie represents debtors, creditors, trustees, creditors committees and liquidating agents in a variety of bankruptcy contexts. Her bankruptcy experience includes, but is not limited to, serving as counsel to debtors and debtors-in-possession in Chapters 7, 11, and 13; prosecuting and defending preference actions and claims litigation; and defending former corporate officers in fraudulent conveyance adversary proceedings.
Civil Litigation
Leslie has jury and bench trial experience in state and federal courts. Having gained her experience in small firms, she is capable of handling all aspects of your case. She represents businesses and individuals in many different areas, including contract disputes, employment matters, commercial/residential landlord and tenant disputes, consumer protection, tort, and collection matters.
Other Areas
In addition to bankruptcy law and litigation, Leslie has represented clients in transactional matters, ranging from contract review, real estate transactions, and small business transactions. She enjoys working closely with other small firms and solo practitioners and she has developed a network of skilled professionals who are qualified in other areas of law in the event you require assistance beyond the scope of services offered by Minerva Law.
